Research Technician in proteomics – Milano, July 22 -2020

A research technician position is immediately available in the Cogentech Proteomics facility (www.cogentech.it/proteomics.php) located in the IFOM campus (www.ifom.eu/en/). The facility is embedded in an international multidisciplinary environment and is equipped with state-of-the-art mass spectrometers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person with experience in proteomics sample preparation, operation of nanoLC and high-resolution mass spectrometers and quantitative data analysis.

The candidate will support and be part of on-going proteomics projects and services within and outside the campus and will be involved in methods development for both sample preparation and LC-MS techniques.

Job responsibilities:

• Sample preparation for proteomics research and biochemical techniques
• Nano LC-MS analysis
• Large dataset analysis
• Maintenance of equipment

Requirements:

• Education in one of the following disciplines: Biochemistry, Analytical Techniques or Biotechnology
• Expertise in proteomics
• English fluency
