The Centro Cardiologico Monzino in Milan is seeking an expert investigator to join the Laboratory of Proteomics. The research of the group is focused on the development of novel methods for protein- and proteome analytics (identification, quantification, posttranslational modifications, mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography) and the application of these methods on biomedical projects in the cardiovascular field. The project will deal with the development of novel LC-MS based methods for protein quantification, the analysis of posttranslational modifications and the identification of proteins in complex biological mixtures.
3 YEARS PhD POSITION “Proteomics to study the molecular basis of catheter-associated urinary tract infections“

Fellowship in "proteomics/mass spectrometry" Istituto Superiore di Sanita' - Roma
A fellowhip is available for a mass spectrometrist with some previous experience, to work on protein identification, posttranslational modifications, and quantitative proteomics. Applicants should not have graduated before 2007. The successful applicant will work on internal and collaborative projects at the proteomics facility of the Istituto Superiore di Sanita', Rome, in the research group led by Dr. Marco Crescenzi.
